Tree Trimming

Every year Roy wants to put up the tree as soon as possible because he absolutely loves having the house decorated for Christmas. Since we are going to be out of town next week for Thanksgiving Roy and the kids convinced me to put up the tree early because we won't get to do it the weekend after Thanksgiving. All week long he and the kids have worked on cleaning the house so we could get the decorations out today. The kids put up the trees in their rooms and helped decorate the tree in the den. We will wait to put up the live tree in the living room until December! I left most of the decorating of the house to Roy this year. He loves to do it and last year he missed out because he was working so much. I also am a creature of habit and would have put everything back where I had it last year. It was fun to see where he put stuff compared to where I would have put it. Now we have a house that is decorated for the Christmas holiday when we get back from Thanksgiving weekend in Thomasville. That will be so nice to come home to!
